THE DREADFUL DIARIES : What a year......Well, this year has been incredible. I mean it. I can't express just how much this year has improved in the past two months.
I started out 2010 as an unknown blogger hoping for exposure and trying to land feet first in the difficult world of Irish media.
I held my first launch party for the blog in Jan 2010 in SPY nightclub which went surprisingly well. If I hadn't have taken the chance and totally broken my back to get it done. (seriously, going to meet Red Bull on my lunchbreak to collect shots for goodie bags to making phonecalls every ten minutes to models, designers, etc) paid off and now, finally, at the end of 2011 : I have moved the blog forward.
I am now, writing for THE magazine, one of Dublin's best gay magazines, writing for EQ magazine, contributing to News talk fm, running two successful blogs as a writer and editor, working with some of the best brands available, interviewed by Dublin city fm - Girls talk back programme, interviewed by Irish Independent about the blog and Irish Times. Not to mention being nominated for the 'Most influencial fashion blogger'!!! Which I did not see coming!! There is still time to vote on that :

We are number 25. But do check out the competition. Ireland has some amazing bloggers who are all very very good. Glad to be considered alongside people like Dublin streets! So pop in and have a good look around and vote!
I also have some exciting new projects lined up for the New Year as well.
I am so grateful for the chance to work with such wonderful people. All the support I have gotten over the past few months, all the sleepless nights have finally been worth it. People don't realise just how much hard work a blog actually is. But it's fun.
And finally, I am grateful to my readers. Who are all such wonderful people and very patient to listen to my whaffle. I am very glad that you keep stopping by and checking in with us. Because none of this could be possible without you.
