I know what your going to say.
These items are really my style or more importantly the style of the blog. I learned that my blog had a unique style back a few years ago when I accidentally featured tea dresses from Oasis and got a wave of abuse. I never did it again.
I went through the cut outs for the SS17 Topshop collection with glee. SURELY it had to better then their AW16 collection right??? Nope. In fact, the more I went through it, the more I was horrified. I am planning a second post with the images that I skipped over and pretended I couldn't see.
I wondered if it was me being old so I opened the discussion on Twitter to see what people thought of the SS16 collection. Apparently it wasn't just me.
I've written before about how sick of the high street I am at the moment. I'm preferring to shop online at the minute because I cannot find decent clothing. In fact, it's getting worse with each passing season. I am so sick of this 90s/00s revisit that each store is doing. I can't bear anymore fluffy anythings or crop tops.
But here is not the place for it. I have to say, it's a negative from me for this collection. Sorry but if I didn't know this was Topshop, I would have said it was a cheap collection from Select or Quiz. I struggled to find enough pieces to make a thing out of. It's a real let down. Sorry guys but it is. Retail is difficult at the moment.
I don't know who is designing your collections guys but, it might be time to have a look at them.
